SPICY BEEF & LIVER VARATTYATH (FRY)

1. Beef - 250 g

2. Liver - 200g

3. Onion - 2

4. Green chilly - 2

5. Ginger paste- 1tsp

6. Garlic paste- 1 tsp

7. Garam masala - 3/4tsp

8. Turmeric powder - 1/4tsp

9. Salt - to taste

10. Shallots - 12 nos

11. Dry red chilly - 3 nos crushed

12. Peppercorns - 1/4tsp crushed

13. Red chilly powder - 3/4tsp

14. Corianderpowder - 3/4tsp

15. Pepper powder - 1/2tsp

16. Coconutoil - as required

17. Curry leaves

18. Coriander leaves

Steps

* Mix the ingredients 1 to 9 and pressure cook until 7-8 whistles are blown.

* Saute the ingredients 10-12 in coconut oil. Add the masalas and saute for few minutes.

* Add the cooked beef and liver along with few tbsps of the water leftover after cooking beef.

* Fry well in low flame by stirring at intervals. It will take approximate 15 to 20 minutes of frying in low flame to get the desired consistency.

* Add curry leaves and coriander leaves and turn off the flame.

* Serve it with Rotis, Patiry, Rice, or anything of your choice.
